SONYMA Advisory Council
Welcome to the SONYMA Advisory Council Homepage
SONYMA is pleased to announce the creation of the SONYMA Advisory Council. The council is comprised of lenders and other industry professionals in New York State who play vital roles in the home buying process.
The purpose of the SONYMA Advisory Council is to provide input and recommendations to help SONYMA maximize its role as an important provider of affordable and sustainable mortgages to low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers across New York State.
To carry out this mission, the SONYMA Advisory Council will offer advice and make recommendations on issues such as:
- SONYMA programs, policies and procedures;
- Key issues and challenges facing SONYMA and its Participating Lenders; and
- Future SONYMA initiatives.
